Ray Bright played in the World Series'Supertests', which were a series of matches played between the West Indies and Australia in 1978 and 1979. The series was organised by the World Series Cricket (WSC) organisation, which had been formed in opposition to the established cricket authorities, the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
