Emery was a member of the Ottawa Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, Chicago Blackhawks, and Anaheim Ducks. He won the Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks in 2013. Emery died on July 15, 2018, from an accidental overdose of fentanyl and alcohol.
