The Ottawa Senators drafted Ray Emery in the fourth round (91st overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Emery, a goaltender, played for the Senators for four seasons before being traded to the Philadelphia Flyers in 2008. He went on to play for several other teams, including the Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks, and Carolina Hurricanes, before retiring in 2015.
