Ray Romano was born on December 21, 1957. He is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and screenwriter. Romano is best known for his role as Ray Barone in the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond (1996-2005), for which he received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. He has also starred in the films The Big Sick (2017), Paddleton (2019), and The Irishman (2019).
