Raymond Poincaré received his training in law. He graduated from the University of Paris with a law degree in 1875. He then practiced law for a few years before entering politics. In 1887, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies. He served as Prime Minister of France three times and was also President of France from 1913 to 1920.
