Red Skelton was an American actor, comedian, writer, and dancer. He was best known for his work in radio, television, and film. Skelton created many of his comedy characters on radio programs, including Clem Kadiddlehopper, a Southern hillbilly; Freddie the Freeloader, a poor man who is always getting into trouble; and Charlie the Tuna, a sailor who is constantly being chased by a shark.
