Answer
Reinhold Messner crossed Greenland—more than 2,700 kilometers—using skis and sheer human strength. His journey lasted 39 days and began in April 1986 from the icebergs near Kulusuk on the barren east coast. On his own and without any external support, he braved the challenges of the formidable Arctic ice cap, negotiating crevasses and battling storms to traverse the white expanse and reach the western shores.
