Renton F.C. lasted for 100 years, from 1872 to 1972. The club was founded in Renton, Scotland, and was one of the founding members of the Scottish Football League. Renton won the Scottish Cup in 1885 and 1888, and were runners-up in 1887. The club also won the Scottish League Cup in 1967. Renton F.C. folded in 1972 after financial difficulties.
