Riccardo Patrese was an Italian racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1977 to 1993. He was the 1983 Italian Grand Prix winner and the 1982 World Drivers' Championship runner-up. Patrese was also the oldest driver to compete in a Formula One World Championship race when he finished in 15th place at the 1993 Australian Grand Prix at the age of 38.
