Riccardo Patrese was born in Bologna, Italy on September 17, 1954. He was a Formula One driver from 1977 to 1993, and is best known for his time with Brabham, where he won the 1983 British Grand Prix. Patrese retired from Formula One after the 1993 season, and he currently works as a commentator for Sky Sports Italia.
