In 2012, the artist Sir Peter Blake selected Curtis to appear in a new version of his artwork for The Beatles, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". Blake had originally created the artwork for the album cover in 1967, and he chose to include Curtis in the new version to represent the "post-punk era".
