Richard Krajicek was born on December 6, 1971. He is a retired Dutch professional tennis player who achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 4 in 1999. Krajicek won the 1996 Wimbledon Championships, becoming the first Dutch player to win a Grand Slam singles title. He also won the 1999 Paris Masters and reached the semifinals of the 1998 Australian Open and 2003 Wimbledon Championships.
