Anne Mortimer was the mother of Richard of York. She was the daughter of Roger Mortimer, 4th Earl of March, and Eleanor Holland. Anne married Richard of Conisburgh, 3rd Earl of Cambridge, in 1406. Their son, Richard of York, was born in 1411. Anne died in 1411, shortly after Richard's birth.
