Richard Rogers was a British-Italian architect. He was born in Florence, Italy, to an English mother and an Italian father. He moved to England with his family when he was young and studied architecture at the Architectural Association in London. He is best known for his work on the Pompidou Centre in Paris, which he designed with Renzo Piano.
