Robert I was the King of Scotland from 1306 until his death in 1329. He was born in 1274 and was the son of King Robert the Bruce and Elizabeth de Burgh. Robert I was a great military leader and led the Scottish forces to victory over the English at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314.
