Elizabeth Mure was the mother of Robert III, King of Scotland from 1390 to 1406. Robert III was the son of King John I and his second wife, Elizabeth Mure. Elizabeth was the daughter of Sir John Mure of Rowallan, a prominent Scottish nobleman. She was a devout Catholic and a patron of the arts. Elizabeth died in 1408, two years after her son's death.
