The Gibb family, who later became the Bee Gees, settled in Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia. Redcliffe is a city on the Redcliffe Peninsula, approximately 24 km north of Brisbane. The Gibb family moved to Redcliffe from Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester, England in 1958. The family lived in a house at 363 Hamilton Avenue. The house is now a museum dedicated to the Bee Gees.
