Rosie Duffield was a member of the Labour Party until September 2024. She had been a member of the party since 2017, and was elected as the Member of Parliament for Canterbury in 2019. Duffield resigned from the Labour Party in September 2024, citing concerns about the party's direction under Keir Starmer. She has since joined the Liberal Democrats.
