Roy Carroll is a Northern Irish professional footballer and manager who is currently the goalkeeping coach at League Two club Chesterfield. He played as a goalkeeper and had a long career in English football, representing Manchester United, West Ham United, Wigan Athletic, Olympiacos, Linfield, and Notts County. He also represented Northern Ireland at international level, winning 45 caps and appearing at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
