The Houston Rockets selected Rudy Tomjanovich with the second overall pick in the 1970 NBA draft. The 6'8" forward from Michigan played 11 seasons for the Rockets and was a two-time NBA All-Star. He was also named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team three times. After his playing career, Tomjanovich became a successful coach, leading the Rockets to two NBA championships in 1994 and 1995.
