Tubridy has hosted the Rose of Tralee twice, in 2014 and 2016. He was first approached to host the event in 2013, but turned down the offer due to scheduling conflicts. In 2014, he accepted the offer and hosted the event for the first time. In 2016, he returned to host the event for a second time.
