Samak Sundaravej was a Thai politician and the 28th Prime Minister of Thailand. He was the leader of the People's Power Party (PPP) and the first Thai politician to be forced to resign from office because of a court ruling that he was guilty of conflict of interest. He was also the only prime minister of Thailand to be impeached and convicted by the National Assembly.
