The Order of Canada is the second highest civilian honour in Canada, awarded to recognize outstanding achievement in various fields of endeavour. In 2020, ice dancers Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue were inducted into the Order of Canada for their "extraordinary performances in ice dancing". The pair won a record-breaking seven world championships, two Olympic gold medals, and three Grand Prix Final titles.
