Sebastian Gorka was born in the United Kingdom. Raised to Hungarian parents in London, he obtained a Bachelor's degree from the London School of Economics. He served in the British Army for 12 years, including in a number of conflicts in the Balkans. After retiring from the military, Gorka worked as a counterterrorism consultant and commentator before being appointed as a deputy assistant to President Donald Trump in 2017.
