Answer
The Panama Papers case led to the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister of Pakistan. The case began in 2016 when the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) published a series of leaked documents from the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca. The documents revealed that Sharif and his family had offshore companies in Panama, which they had not declared to the Pakistani government.
