The FA Trophy is an English football competition for semi-professional teams from levels 5–8 of the English football league system. Established in 1969 as the FA Amateur Cup, it was initially designed as an equivalent of the FA Cup but for amateur clubs. In 2007, Morecambe F.C., a team from the Football Conference (level 5 at the time), won the competition by defeating Kidderminster Harriers 2–0 at Wembley Stadium.
