Stuart Broad captained the England Twenty 20 International team from July 2011 to July 2012. He was the first fast bowler to captain England since Brian Statham in 1953. Broad's captaincy tenure was unsuccessful, as England lost all six of their Twenty20 Internationals under his leadership. He was replaced by Eoin Morgan as captain in July 2012.
