Tadeusz Mazowiecki was a politician and an author. He was a member of the Polish Solidarity movement and served as the first Prime Minister of Poland after the fall of the communist regime in 1989. Mazowiecki was also a prolific writer and published several books, including his autobiography "My Life in Poland". He died in 2013 at the age of 87.
