Answer
After leaving the Saints, Bridgewater signed with the Carolina Panthers. He was the backup quarterback to Cam Newton, but started three games after Newton suffered a season-ending injury. Bridgewater played well in his starts, completing 64.3% of his passes for 751 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 47 yards and a touchdown. However, the Panthers lost all three of Bridgewater's starts, and he was released after the season.
