Teemu Selänne is the second Finn after Jari Kurri to be elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Selänne was born in Helsinki, Finland, on July 3, 1970. He is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 21 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Finnish hockey players of all time.
