Terry Jones was an English actor, comedian, director, screenwriter, author, playwright and musician. He is best known for his work with Monty Python, which he co-founded in 1969 with John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Michael Palin, Eric Idle, and Terry Gilliam. In 1986, Jones wrote the screenplay for Jim Henson's film "Labyrinth", which was based on a story by Brian Froud.
