Claudio Ranieri was dismissed as Greece national team manager after just four months in charge. The Italian was appointed in September 2014, but the Greek Football Federation (EPO) decided to terminate his contract after a poor start to the 2014–15 UEFA Euro qualifying campaign. Greece had lost three of their four matches in Group F, and were bottom of the table.
