Thomas Friedman is an American author and journalist who has been a foreign correspondent for The New York Times since 1982. He is best known for his books about globalization and international affairs, including The World is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-First Century, which won the Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction in 2005.
