Duke of Newcastle was the title held by Thomas Pelham-Holles. He was a prominent British statesman who served as Prime Minister of Great Britain on two separate occasions, from 1754 to 1756 and again from 1757 to 1762. During his time as Prime Minister, he played a key role in British foreign policy and military strategy during the Seven Years' War.
