Tillakaratne Dilshan retired from ODI cricket on 28th August 2016. He was 39 years old at the time of his retirement. He had played 404 ODIs for Sri Lanka, scoring 10,405 runs at an average of 39.75. He had also scored 19 centuries and 73 half-centuries in ODIs. Dilshan was a very successful ODI batsman, and his retirement was a big loss for Sri Lanka.
