Tim Wakefield is a former professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 19 seasons. He played for the Boston Red Sox from 1992 to 2012, and for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2013. Wakefield is best known for his knuckleball, which is a pitch that is difficult for batters to hit. He was inducted into the Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame in 2015.
