Timothy Michael Dolan is a cardinal of the Catholic Church and the Archbishop of New York, the seat of the Archdiocese of New York. He was ordained a priest in 1969 and has served as the Archbishop of New York since 2002. He was created a cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI in 2009.
