Italian skier Andrea Massi served as head coach of Slovenian skier Tina Maze throughout her career. The two first met in 2003, and Massi soon became Maze's primary coach. He helped Maze develop her skills and techniques, and she went on to win numerous medals at the Olympics, World Championships, and World Cup. Massi and Maze remained close friends and collaborators until Maze's retirement in 2017.
