Toma T. Socolescu founded the Nicolae Iorga Library, which is the main public library in Bucharest, Romania. It was established in 1943 and is named after the Romanian historian and politician Nicolae Iorga. The library has a collection of over 2 million books, as well as a number of other resources, including periodicals, newspapers, maps, and manuscripts.
