Answer
The famed classical melody, widely attributed to Baroque composer Tomaso Albinoni, is, in fact, largely created by musicologist Remo Giazotto. In the mid-20th century, Giazotto discovered a fragment of a manuscript with bass notes by Albinoni and ingeniously expanded it into the mesmerizing masterpiece, "Adagio in G minor."
