Answer
Momoyama Castle, or Fushimi Castle, was built by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, a Japanese daimyo and military commander who ruled Japan from 1586 to 1598. The castle was named after the Momoyama period, a period of Japanese history during which Hideyoshi ruled. The castle was destroyed by fire in 1603, but the ruins can still be seen today.
