The United Rugby Championship (URC) formerly known as the Pro12, is a professional rugby union competition involving teams from Ireland, Wales, Scotland, South Africa and Italy. The competition was formed in 2017 through the merger of the Pro12 and the Guinness Pro14, and includes 16 teams divided into two conferences, the Celtic League and the Guinness PRO14 Conference.
