Tamarine Tanasugarn turned professional in 1994. She is a Thai former professional tennis player who reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 19 in June 1998. Tanasugarn won four WTA singles titles and two WTA doubles titles during her career. She also represented Thailand at the Olympics twice, in 1996 and 2000.
