Answer
The Presidential Palace was the title given to the Malolos Cathedral's convent during the republic. It served as the official residence and office of the President of the First Philippine Republic, Emilio Aguinaldo. The palace was originally a convent built by the Augustinian friars in the 18th century. It was converted into the Presidential Palace in 1899, when Aguinaldo established the republic in Malolos.
