Answer
Vanessa Carlton left A&M in 2005 after the release of her second album Harmonium. She was signed to the label in 2002 and released her debut album, Be Not Nobody, in 2004. Harmonium was not as successful as her debut, and Carlton was dropped by the label in 2005. She later signed with Island Def Jam Music Group and released her third album, Heroes & Thieves, in 2007.
