Ann Jellicoe was an influential playwright and screenwriter whose works were often directed by Jara. Jellicoe is best known for her play "The Knack," which premiered in 1962 and was adapted into a film of the same name in 1965. Her other notable works include "The Sport of My Mad Mother" (1958) and "Shelley" (1965).
