Von Miller won the Butkus Award while in college. The Butkus Award is given annually to the best linebacker in college football. It is named after Dick Butkus, a Hall of Fame linebacker who played for the Chicago Bears. Miller won the award in 2009, when he was a senior at Texas A&M. He was also named a consensus All-American that year.
