Sherborne Estate was the name of Raleigh's estate in Dorset. The estate was granted to him by Queen Elizabeth I in 1584, and he lived there until his death in 1618. The estate was later inherited by his son, Carew Raleigh, and then by his grandson, Sir Walter Raleigh the Younger.
