Born on June 29, 1889, Warner Baxter was an American actor. He is best known for his roles in 42nd Street (1933) and Bulldog Drummond (1929), for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor. Baxter also starred in a number of other films, including The Awful Truth (1937) and Five Came Back (1939). He died on May 7, 1951, at the age of 61.
