Augusta Victoria of Schleswig-Holstein was the mother of Wilhelm II, German Emperor. She was born in 1858 to Christian IX, King of Denmark, and Princess Louise of Hesse-Cassel. She married Wilhelm in 1881 and they had eight children together. Augusta Victoria was a popular figure in Germany and was known for her charitable work. She died in 1921.
